HyrTech: from one patient intake flow to a multi merchant telehealth platform
HyrTech is a multi merchant telehealth platform: a branded storefront, patient intake and fulfillment, built so that any clinic can launch its own. Logic Square built it HIPAA aware from the first screen, with merchant scoped data and configuration so one merchant’s solution became a platform other merchants can run on. Every module is ours, and it launched with two merchants.

01 / The Challenge
Telehealth commerce is easy to demo and hard to do properly
A storefront that sells a consultation is a weekend project. A storefront where the intake collects health information, a licensed provider makes the clinical decision, the order is fulfilled and the record is handled the way health data has to be handled is a different build. Most of the cost is in the boundaries, not the screens.
HyrTech also needed to be more than one clinic’s site. The first solution had to become a platform other merchants could launch on without sharing each other’s data.
02 / The Decision
Build the first solution on platform boundaries
Logic Square built the first merchant’s storefront as if it were the tenth. Merchant scoped data and configuration from the start, so a second merchant is a configuration, not a fork. The intake to fulfillment chain was designed as one sequence with the clinical decision kept with licensed providers in the connected care workflow, and the commerce around it.
HIPAA aware by design means the handling of health information shaped the architecture: what is collected, where it is stored, who can see it, how it moves. We say aware, not certified, because that is the accurate word for what engineering can deliver.
03 / What We Built
Storefront, intake and fulfillment, HIPAA aware end to end
The intake to fulfillment chain
- 01
Storefront.
A branded, configurable storefront per merchant.
- 02
Patient intake.
Structured intake that collects what the care step needs, handled as health information.
- 03
Clinical step.
Clinical decisions remain with licensed providers in the connected care workflow.
- 04
Fulfillment.
The order moves to fulfillment with its status visible to the merchant.
- 05
Record.
Merchant scoped records; one merchant never sees another’s data.
Single solution to multi merchant platform
The first merchant’s storefront, intake and fulfillment became the platform’s template. Each new merchant gets its own configuration and its own data scope on the shared platform.
Configurable storefronts
Branding, products and flows set per merchant, so a launch is configuration work rather than a new build.
Patient intake software inside the chain
Intake is not a separate form tool bolted on. It sits between the storefront and the clinical step, collects only what the provider needs, and hands the record on.
Every module, built by Logic Square
HyrTech’s product is ours end to end; no other development team has worked on it:
- the website and storefront builder;
- the customer and member portal;
- the admin dashboard;
- analytics;
- subscriptions and recurring billing;
- integrations;
- chargeback and dunning workflows;
- compliance assist and onboarding workflows.
04 / Engineering Notes
Boundaries first, framework list second
Merchant scoped data. Isolation is a property of the data model, not a filter on a query.
Health information handling. Collected only where the care step needs it; access scoped by role and merchant; encrypted in transit.
One chain, not three apps. Storefront, intake and fulfillment share one record of the order, so the merchant sees one status.
05 / The Results
Built end to end, launched with two merchants
- Launched with two merchants.
- Multi merchant from day one: both launch merchants ran on one shared platform, each with its own configuration and data.
- Full product scope: storefront builder, member portal, admin dashboard, analytics, subscriptions and recurring billing, integrations, chargeback and dunning, compliance assist and onboarding.
- HIPAA aware intake to fulfillment chain shipped at launch.
Building regulated commerce that has to be right from day one?
Book a Strategy Call06 / Who this pattern fits
Any product that sells a regulated service through a storefront and has to serve more than one operator: telehealth and wellness platforms, medspa and clinic networks, membership and concierge care, subscription health products, and medspa software sold to many operators.
The questions that decide it: is the clinical decision kept with the licensed provider, and does each operator’s data stay its own. For the opposite shape, regulated intake dropped into a site that already exists, see Quidget, telehealth intake embedded in an existing site. More on healthcare software development.
FAQ
Common questions
What is a multi merchant telehealth platform?
+
A telehealth platform that many clinics or wellness operators run on at once, each with its own branded storefront, patient intake, clinical step with a licensed provider, fulfillment and its own data. HyrTech is one, built by Logic Square.
How is a multi merchant healthcare platform different from a single clinic app?
+
A single clinic app has one owner and one data set. A multi merchant platform has to keep each merchant’s configuration and data separate while sharing the engineering underneath. HyrTech was built that way from the first merchant.
What does HIPAA aware engineering mean here?
+
Health information shaped the architecture: what is collected, where it lives, who can see it, how it moves, encrypted in transit and scoped by merchant and role. Aware by design, not a certification claim.
What did Logic Square build for HyrTech?
+
All of it: the website and storefront builder, the customer and member portal, structured patient intake and the connection to the clinical step, fulfillment, the admin dashboard, analytics, subscriptions and recurring billing, integrations, chargeback and dunning workflows, compliance assist and onboarding, and the multi merchant model with merchant scoped data and configuration. Logic Square remains HyrTech’s development team.
Is HyrTech a white label telehealth platform?
+
It is white label telehealth software. Each operator, a medspa, a wellness clinic, a concierge practice, launches under its own brand, and HyrTech provides the software and integrations, not a clinical network. Clinical decisions stay with licensed providers in the connected care workflow.
What does patient intake software do in a telehealth platform?
+
It is the structured step between the storefront and the clinical decision: it collects what the provider needs, nothing more, and hands the record to the care workflow. In HyrTech it is part of one chain from storefront to fulfillment rather than a separate form tool.
When does a healthcare founder need custom software instead of a white label vendor?
+
When the business is the platform: when you need your own merchants, your own data boundaries and your own commerce rules rather than a seat on someone else’s network.
