01 — The Challenge
Help exists. Finding it is the problem.
A county’s community resources — food, housing, health, employment support — are scattered across dozens of organizations and websites. The resident who needs them is often in the worst position to hunt for them. The platform problem is discovery: one place, plainly navigable, that stays current — with a path to a real person when the directory isn’t enough.
02 — What We Built
A public resource platform with a human fallback.
Resource discovery
A county-wide directory residents can actually navigate — organized by need, in plain language, current.
A path to a person
When the directory isn’t enough, residents reach a real person — the platform is designed around that fallback, not despite it.
Built for public trust
County-backed, accessible, and maintained — public software that has to work for everyone, including residents in a difficult moment.
03 — The Results
A county-backed platform, in production, serving thousands of residents.
The outcomes here are qualitative and public: residents find resources they previously couldn’t, and reach a person when they’re stuck. For a veteran-led, SDVOSB-certified firm, it’s also the government lane in practice — public software delivered and maintained for a county partner.
